I Feel Your Pain.

I am with you every step on the way to civil justice. I will meet you at your home, in my office or anywhere that is convenient for you. You just had a serious injury and I want to accommodate you. I want you to be compensated for your pain and suffering, to make you whole again. That is civil justice and that is what I argue to the jury. With over 29 years of litigation experience, I know how to fight for victims of personal injuries. I answer your telephone calls and answer your questions. If I am in court or unavailable, I will call you back at night, early in the morning, or even on the weekend. I know how important your case is to you, because it is important to me.

If someone, or something, caused your injury, I will fight for your recovery. I have tried cases in Philadelphia, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks and Berks counties - and throughout Pennsylvania. Many cases can be settled before, or even during trial. I also use arbitration and alternative dispute resolution when it is in the best interest of my clients.

Motor Vehicle Collisions

Motor vehicle collisions are no accident.
Someone was in the wrong. Someone was careless. Someone was at fault.

Who is going to pay for my car?
Who is going to pay for my injuries?

If you have collision coverage, you look to your own insurance company to pay for your property damage. But what about reimbursement for the deductible? What about compensation for the injuries you suffered, or lost wages, or excess medical bills, or scarring that is permanent? You file a claim against the negligent party for those losses.

The other driver had no insurance.
Now what?

Typically, you seek recovery from the negligent party. But if the negligent party does not have insurance, you may be able to gain compensation from your own insurance; that is, if you have what is known as “uninsured motorist coverage.”

What happens when the other party insists it was your fault?

In Pennsylvania, there is something called comparative fault. The court can apportion each of the parties a percentage of negligence. As long as your own negligence is not over 50%, you may still be able to recover compensation.

Personal Injuries

Most people do not realize that Pennsylvania’s own Constitution provides a remedy for a personal injury. Article 1, Section 11 states: “... and every man for an injury done him in his lands, goods, person or reputation shall have remedy by due course of law...”

Whether your injury was due to a fall on an icy sidewalk, a sunken sewer grate, a tripping hazard or for any other reason, you have a right to be made whole. For example, I have gained compensation for people injured by collapsing ceilings, tripping hazards on sidewalks, sunken sewer grates, falling holiday ornaments and excessively slippery walking surfaces. If someone’s negligence or carelessness caused your injury, you are entitled to be made whole. If you have been injured, call me 24/7 at 610-256-9762.

Medical Malpractice

Pennsylvania courts have special procedures for filing medical malpractice claims. In most cases, claims must be reviewed by an expert before a case can be filed in court. And what about all those “consent forms” you have to sign in the doctor’s office or hospital?

I have gained recoveries for people who have suffered serious injuries caused by hospitals and medical professionals. From bedsores in a nursing facility to improper technique in a gall bladder surgery to the wrong medication being dispensed by a pharmacy, you have a right to be made whole. If you have been injured by a medical professional or facility, call me 24/7 at 610-256-9762.

Defective Products

Some products are designed improperly. Some products are manufactured improperly. Sometimes, all it takes is a simple and inexpensive modification to turn an unsafe product into a safe one. I have recovered compensation for people injured by malfunctioning gym equipment, an unguarded punch press, an improperly designed truck step, an exploding acetylene tank valve, a runaway power jack, a collapsing bar stool and a circular power saw with a sticking blade. If you have been injured by a defective product, call me 24/7 at 610-256-9762.

Insurance Disputes

Fighting with a negligent party is one thing. Fighting with your own insurance company is another. You should not have to fight with your own insurance company. That is when you need me. Insurance companies will be quick to accept your premium payments. But how fast are they at paying your own claim?

The claims representatives work for the insurance company, not you. Who is looking out for you? What if your insurance company says your claim is not covered? What if your insurance company says your medical treatment was not necessary and refuses to pay your medical bill? Who pays the medical bill then? If you have a dispute with your own insurance company, call me 24/7 at 610-256-9762.
